IN MEMORY

October 2, 1929 - June 1, 2019
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord.
Father Charles Thomas Schefter, who lived and served at St. Clement Parish in his retirement years until 2014, has entered into eternal life.  He died peacefully at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Guelph, on Saturday, June 1st, 2019:  Two years less a day following Father Philip Sherlock.​

 Funeral arrangements have been made with Henry Walser Funeral Home, Kitchener.

Visitation will take place
at St. Clement Parish, Cambridge
on Thursday, June 6, 2019,
from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Vigil prayers will be offered at Church
on Thursday, June 6, 2019, ​at 8:00 p.m.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated
by Bishop Douglas Crosby
at St. Clement Parish, Cambridge,
on Friday, June 7, 2019,
at 10:00 a.m.​
Our deepest sympathy and condolences to the Schefter family.  Father Charlie was a gentle man, a humble servant of the Lord, and his courage in the face of Alzheimer Disease set an example for us all.
