On behalf of the staff at St. Joseph, we welcome you to a truly vibrant school community that puts the needs of children first. We feel blessed to be part of a school team focused on developing the whole child — mind, body and spirit — through a commitment to high expectations, collaboration, and inclusivity for all. The Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations are the foundation of our daily practice at St. Joseph. Our students reflect daily on WWJD: What Would Jesus Do? He is truly our greatest teacher, and our students are mindful each day to live their lives like Jesus.
We have the privilege of educating our children in a Catholic school system; this is a truly awesome responsibility and one which we will not take for granted. We place great value on our three cornerstones of community – school, home, and church. Under the guidance and leadership of our St. Clement parish priest, Father Markus, our students will have the opportunity to grow in their daily lives, and celebrate the sacraments. Together, we can prepare our 21st century learners for a productive, meaningful life, tolerant of differences, while working together in the image of Jesus Christ.

The mission of St. Michael Catholic School Community is to enable each child through a cooperative Christ-centred environment to develop values, knowledge and skills to their individual potential in order to become effective disciples of Christ by making a positive contribution to society.
In an effort to live out this mission we, at St. Michael's, continue to have wonderful celebrations with the families through liturgies, sacraments and social events. Our school community is continually encouraged to reach out to others through such groups as the St. Vincent de Paul Society and Canadian Food for Children.

St. Benedict School Prayer
God, You have made us and brought us together as a diverse group of people, all reflecting Your image. We pray that we would celebrate and respect one another for who we are and what we do. Help us create a faithful, safe and compassionate community where each of us can be successful. We pray that our Catholic education would make us wise and loving people. Help us use our knowledge and leadership abilities to transform our world into a community where people act with compassion and kindness. Amen.
